Our clients wanted to make better use of the rooftop connected to their West End penthouse apartment. With incredible panoramic views across Brisbane, the space had enormous potential to become somewhere for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying everyday life outdoors, but it felt exposed, outdated and disconnected from the rest of the home.
Orterra worked closely with the clients from concept through to detailed documentation and construction support. A custom louvre pergola provides flexible shade and weather protection, raised planters bring lush greenery, integrated lighting creates atmosphere after dark, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen completes the space — turning an impractical, underused rooftop into a genuine extension of the home.
